Hundreds of restaurant workers march to demand a stop union busting and dignity on the job

Restaurant workers from Rasika, Modena, St. Anselm, Pastis, and Le Diplomate together with UNITE HERE Local 25 and allies marched through downtown DC on Thursday to demand that Knightsbridge and Starr restaurant groups stop union-busting and give workers dignity on the job.

AFGE and AFSCME sue Trump Administration over efforts to politicize the civil service
On January 29, AFGE and AFSCME, represented by Democracy Forward and Bredhoff and Kaiser PLLC, filed suit against the Trump administration challenging efforts to politicize the civil service through illegal executive orders. The lawsuit asserts that President Trump illegally exceeded his authority in attempting to roll back a regulation that protects the rights of civil servants. Read more »
Howard University workers call out increased costs for health plan and cuts to staff
Workers at Howard University with 32BJ SEIU are calling out contractor CBRE's recent health plan cost increases and staff cuts.
