Referrals close Friday for CSA's Holiday Basket Program

Every year at holiday time, the Community Services Agency provides holiday baskets to families who need some extra support.

⭐ Referrals for the winter holidays will close this Friday, December 6.⭐ If your union knows a family who could use some support this season, make a referral before Friday.

We also invite our Affiliate unions to sponsor a family or contribute to this annual tradition. Fill out the contribution form.

Take action: Add your voice to the call for safe staffing and safe facilities in Maryland

AFSCME Maryland rallied at Maryland's State Center yesterday to call for safe staffing and safe facilities for state employees. Help them demand a fair wage proposal from state leaders so Maryland agencies can recruit and retain enough staff for their critical work. Send a letter to state leaders supporting the union.


Urban Institute Employees Union members unanimously ratify first contract

On Monday the Nonprofit Professional Employees Union, IFPTE Local 70 (NPEU), and the Urban Institute announced the unanimous ratification of the first collective bargaining agreement (CBA) governing the terms and conditions of employment for nearly 300 Urban staff.
