Tell Mayor Bowser and DDOT: Cut the games with DC Circulator

For years, ATU Local 689 members have provided top-notch service to DC residents, commuters, and visitors through the DC Circulator.

Now, with Circulator service slated to be eliminated, it’s time to do right and make sure that riders, workers, and service don’t get left behind. Send a letter to Mayor Bowser and DDOT calling on them to transfer Circulator to WMATA.


Boycott and pickets continue at Grand Hyatt Washington

The Grand Hyatt Washington is one of DC's largest non-union hotels and it hosts a large number of federal government events. UNITE HERE Local 25, the hospitality workers union, has called for a boycott of the hotel and has been holding daily pickets since August 5. 32BJ SEIU joined Local 25 on the picket line last week to make it clear guests should not sleep, eat, or meet at the Grant Hyatt Washington.


NPEU Wins at the NLRB

A judge for the National Labor Relations Board has ruled that the ACLU illegally terminated Kate Oh after she raised concerns about managers' mistreatment of staff and poor working conditions, NPEU announced on Thursday.

"This ruling is a significant victory for workers' rights and reinforces the importance of protecting employees who stand up for their rights in the workplace." Read more »

Community Services Agency 27th Annual Golf Tournament
