Virginia State Senator Jennifer Carrol Foy urges WMATA to bargain in good faith

"I am writing you today as I understand that you are in the opening stages of negotiations with your workers' representatives at ATU Local 689," Virginia State Senator Jennifer Carrol Foy wrote in a letter to WMATA General Manager Randy Clarke in March. "I am deeply concerned as we have heard that serious cuts for workers' wages and benefits are being proposed. In response, I strongly urge you to not just come to the table bargaining with Local 689 in good faith but also with full support for upholding workers' quality of life."
