Give private sector retirees their due: Rally TODAY to repeal WEP/GPO

For decades, two unfair Social Security law provisions have unjustly deprived more than 2 million public service retirees of the benefits they have earned. But we have an opportunity to fix this injustice.

Today at 11:30 AM join AFL-CIO, IAFF, APWU, AFSCME, IFPTE, AFGE, Alliance of Retired Americans, SEIU, and other labor leaders along with members of Congress, and public service workers for a rally to demand the Senate call a vote on WEP/GPO repeal! More details »

Call the Senate: Confirm NLRB Chair Lauren McFerran

By Wednesday night, the Senate will vote on the confirmation of President Biden’s National Labor Relations Board (NLRB) Chair Lauren McFerran.

If McFerran is confirmed, the NLRB will maintain a pro-worker majority at least through August 2026. To protect workers’ right to organize and collectively bargain, it is critical for McFerran to be confirmed. Make two calls to your Senators TODAY asking for McFerran to be confirmed.

Tell Prince George's County Public School System not to shut the door on negotiations

Since 2018 the Prince George's County Educators Association has conducted public, open negotiations with the Prince George's County Board of Education. But this year, Prince George's County Public School System wants to shut the door on families, students and educators and close negotiations from the public.

Join in solidarity with PGCEA and tell PGCPS collective bargaining must be transparent and open to the public.
